I recently received a visit from my 60 year old uncle who suffers
from gout. He was in so much pain that he was unable to walk without
a cane. I brought him for an Aqua Detox treatment with the hope that
it would help relieve some of his discomfort. During the aquawash
the tub of water that his feet were soaking in became absolutely
filthy, I was surprised that we could actually see the toxins that
were being removed from his body. The results were astonishing, my
uncle was able to walk out without his cane and
did not need it for the rest of his visit.

I have experienced some profound changes in my life in the last couple of years that have left me unhappy and very “out of sorts” in comparison to the person that I was 10 years ago. While I realized that I was unhappy, I could not seem to pull myself out of it and I was not willing to ask a doctor for antidepressants.

A dear friend suggested Reiki to me and explained the general concept. I have to admit that I was more than a little skeptical. I am a traditional, black and white type of person and Reiki seemed very foreign. After several months of considering it, I decided to give it a try.

I have participated in approximately 5 sessions to date. The changes have been subtle. There hasn’t been one huge defining moment that has made me happier, but I am happier. I cannot explain why. I can only theorize that the Reiki forced me to think about myself, my body and my life in terms that I have never done before. Perhaps it placed my attention on seeking happiness rather than simply always being unhappy. I do believe that Reiki has given me the power to take control of my life once again

A Reiki session is simply wonderful, but I recommend at least 3. It is the most peaceful and relaxing thing a person can do for themselves. I have had a number of massages, but Reiki is far less invasive (and therefore truly relaxing) as you stay dressed during the session. Silvia and Andi are so personable, friendly and professional. You will feel at ease in their presence and they will quickly become a good friend. I don’t think there is a better way to “treat” yourself than a Reiki session with Silvia and Andi!
